Tessie: Whew! That last adventure left me with some serious fatigue.
Wooley: Same here. That encounter with the wild raccoon was not what I expected!
Tessie: And turns out it was an omnivore. It tried to eat both the apple and my boot!
Wooley: Good thing Bellseye kicked it away. Hey, did you notice that old orchard nearby? It felt like something out of history.
Tessie: Yeah! And remember that small cave under the tree roots? It looked like a hidden tomb.
Wooley: I wouldn’t be surprised if it was. We should prepare before exploring it next time.
Tessie: Definitely. Maybe bring Buss along too. He’s great at scanning for artificial traps.
Wooley: True. But we should write a draft of our plan first. No more surprises.
Tessie: Agreed. I don’t want another tremor knocking me off my feet like last time!
Wooley: Ha! You did land in that pile of leaves pretty well though.
Tessie: Thanks. By the way, shouldn’t we send our bimonthly report to Annie?
Wooley: Right! Let’s do that afterward, once we clean up the barn.
Tessie: Sounds good. I’ll handle the verbal part—you know I love talking!
Wooley: And I’ll write the part about the fauna we saw. That squirrel in a cowboy hat deserves a mention.

ウーリー：僕もさ。あのアライグマとの遭遇は予想外だったよ！
テシー：しかもあれって雑食動物だったのよ。リンゴも私のブーツも食べようとしてた！
ウーリー：ベルズアイが蹴り飛ばしてくれて助かったよ。それより、あの近くにあった古い果樹園、見た？
テシー：うん！そして木の根の下にあったあの小さな洞窟。まるで隠された墓みたいだったね。
ウーリー：本当にそうかも。今度探検する前にちゃんと準備しよう。
テシー：絶対ね。バスも連れて行こうよ。彼なら人工的な罠を探すのが得意だし。
ウーリー：たしかに。でもまずは計画の下書きを作ろう。もう驚きはごめんだ。
テシー：同感よ。もう二度とあの時みたいな地震で吹っ飛びたくないもん！
ウーリー：でも君、落ち葉の山にうまく着地してたじゃないか。
テシー：ありがとう。それより、アニーに隔月の報告送らなきゃじゃない？
ウーリー：そうだった！でもその後でにしよう。まずは納屋の掃除をしようか。
テシー：いいわね。口頭の報告は私がやるよ。話すの大好きだし！
ウーリー：じゃあ、僕は今日見た動物たちについて書くよ。カウボーイハットをかぶったリスは絶対に外せないね。
