場面：有名な自然科学博物館の前。どび太とノラえもんが長い列に並んでいる。
どび太：うぅ…もう列に1時間も並んでるよ。足が痛いよ〜。
ノラえもん：今回は自然科学の特別展だからね。みんな恐竜の化石を見たくてワクワクしてるんだよ。
どび太：それにしてもさ…列を飛ばせたらいいのに。道具、持ってないの？
ノラえもん：あるけどね、こういう時に抜け道を使うのは必ずしも適切とは言えないよ、どび太くん。
どび太：つまんないな〜。今ごろ中でTレックスの歯について賢い発言してたのに。
ノラえもん：前回みたいに、マンモスを「でっかいハムスター」って呼んだときみたいに？
どび太：だって暗かったんだもん！とにかく、今回はちゃんと勉強したんだから、早く入る価値があると思う！
ノラえもん：ほんと？じゃあ、「逆説」って何か説明してみて。
どび太：えっと…本当っぽいけど、同時に本当じゃないようなこと？
ノラえもん：おお、悪くない！ちょっと感心したよ。
どび太：そういえば、今回は民族文化と動物の関係についての展示もあるんだって。面白そう！
ノラえもん：うん、いろんな人々が自然をどう見ているか、その広がりが分かる展示なんだ。科学の面白さってそこだよね。
どび太：たまにだけど、ノラえもんって僕の好奇心をかき立てるのが上手だよね。
ノラえもん：それが僕の仕事さ。でも忘れちゃだめだよ—カフェテリアには近づかないように。掃除中で床がまだ湿ってるんだ。
どび太：了解。今回はガイドさんに話す時も、もっと流ちょうに話すようにするよ！
ノラえもん：いいね。でも今度こそ化石を「ばあちゃんの古い骨」とか言うのはやめてよ。
